Rating: B- -- For most people, TRON's importance is as a historical footnote. It's the Model T of our CGI age. But the film's fans are passionate ones. Full Review

The visual appeal of the film is supported by a simple and well-crafted plot. [Full Review in Spanish] Full Review

Rating: 2/5 -- Its computer sequences exist in a blue-gray scheme filled with flashing lights, speeding objects and dizzying motion. Its visual effects are wonderfully new. They are also numbing after a while.

Tron never reaches a level of excitement commensurate with its effects budget. Full Review

Rating: 6/10 -- While its visual effects have aged laughably poorly, the movie can be quite lovely to look at, particularly since its CGI isn't trying to represent anything more realistic than 1982-era CGI. Full Review

Product Description:

A video game designer trying to prove a big time executive stole his idea is sucked into a corporation's mainframe where programs are personified counterparts of their writers and "users" are subjects of religious faith. A well-crafted and scripted metaphor, TRON benefits from breakthrough computer animation.
