Description by OLDIES.com:
HOT FOOT (1923): After being mistaken for the famous dancer "Hot Foot", Bobby Dunn is forced to participate in an all-night dance marathon. Too bad he was born with two left feet.
WORKING WINNIE (1926): Between 1926 and 1928, comedian Billy West produced ten shorts starring his wife Ethlyn Gibson as the long-running comic strip character Winnie Winkle. In Working Winnie, the always-harried working girl has to bring her family along to a swanky society party - where everyone is horrified by their slovenly table manners.
A MAN ABOUT TOWN (1927): Billed inexplicably as "A Jazz Version of the O. Henry Story", this Fox featurette finds a daydreaming grocery clerk winning the heart of a banker's daughter from the well-heeled title character (played by future cowboy story Bob Livingston, using his real name Bob Randall.) Other than the title, it has very little to do with O. Henry.
CAPTAIN KIDD'S KITTENS (1927): Knock-offs of Hal Roach's Our Gang were plentiful during the silent era. Captain Kidd's Kittens shows yet another kid gang of youthful unknowns rounding up the neighborhood pets after misunderstanding the story of Noah's Ark.
