Description by OLDIES.com:
Charles and Carol Stuart met and fell in love at Boston College. Carol was seven months pregnant with their first child when Charles called 911 from his car phone to report that they had been attacked by a black car jacker while on their way to a medical checkup. Police arrived at the scene to find Carol and her unborn child dead, and Charles in serious condition. It was like a spark in a powder keg: police stormed through the city's black neighborhoods, arresting almost every young black male they came across. These tactics received heavy criticism and tensions rose. And then it became clear that Charles had been lying all along.
