La Orquesta Sinfonietta Canto America

Canto America and La Orquesta Sinfonietta (chamber orchestra) is our vision of the revitalization of the concept of a strong rhythmic base over which orchestral elements of European classical music are featured. Our foundation is very much a function of the African roots of New World music, and so West African-based percussion and grooves permeate the body of our work.
