Entertainment Reviews:
On their own, each segment of Room is tense and emotional. But they’re even better placed back-to-back. -- Grade: B+
A.V. Club
Rating: A --
A restrained, unique prospective, coupled with honest storytelling and emotionally raw performances make Room not only a stellar literary adaptation, but one of the best films of the year.

The Babbling Blonde
3.5 stars out of 4 -- All you need to know is that the performances of Larson and Tremblay will blow you away....ROOM is a small movie, but its impact is enormous.
Rolling Stone
Rating: A --
Room is a "one and done" film for me for all the right reasons. Too heartbreakingly dense for repeat viewings, it leaves its scar, beautiful enough to last, after just the once.

Rating: 4.5/5 --
With regards to the performances, Larson and Tremblay are, in a word, outstanding. They share an unmistakable chemistry and bring equally emotional performances out of each other.

ROOM is several things by turn: creepy, frightening, exhilarating and then frightening and exhilarating all over again.
Los Angeles Times
Product Description:
Held captive for nearly a decade in a tiny shed converted into a living space, a single mother (Brie Larson) and her five-year-old son (Jacob Tremblay) break away from their captor after a daring escape. The mother and son are thrown back into society after years of isolation and struggle to adjust to life outside the room. Lenny Abrahamson directs this deeply emotional drama based on the novel by Emma Donoghue.
