In 2020, the outbreak of the coronavirus escalated into a worldwide pandemic, forcing countless individuals across the globe to quarantine in their homes and combat the potential spread of the virus. At the heart of it all, an ordinary husband (James McAvoy) and wife (Sharon Horgan) duo find themselves spending more time with one another than they ever could have predicted. Yet as the months of lockdown continue to crawl by, the couple must reassess what they consider meaningful both in their lives as individuals and within their relationship.
