Entertainment Reviews:
Rating: 2/5 --
An ambitious but instantly generic urban crime drama that conjures up the usual assortment of cliched' streetwise grittiness
TheWorldJournal.com
...Like a classic Warner Bros. film noir with a lot of colorful speaking roles....A complex, well-crafted, clearly told story....It is refreshing that the film has no heroes...
Chicago Sun-Times
There are several clever twists in the story, though Kouf never quite manages to make much of it seem credible.

Unpleasant urban crime drama that's short on story but a bit longer on performances.

Writer-director Jim Kouf crams the screen with enough incident, coincidence and characters to keep you watching.

Rating: 82/100 --
Jim Kouf has managed to create a low-budget cop story that not only features a sterling cast, but also manages to entertain for two hours straight.

Tupac was a very promising actor -- it's a shame this was the kind of film he usually wound up in.

Product Description:
A pair of world-weary vice cops spend their off-hours selling off their confiscated drugs and murdering their buyers, cleaning the streets and padding their own pockets simultaneously. But their plan falls flat when a victim turns out to have been an undercover DEA agent, and the two are unable to use their customary excuse--that the shootings are gang-related--to prevent an internal investigation. Bolstered by a gangsta rap soundtrack featuring its late star, Shakur.
