One of the true legends of the Los Angeles session scene, versatile guitarist Howard Roberts recorded with the likes of Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, the Beach Boys, the Monkees, Eddie Cochran and Phil Spector. But Roberts is equally notable for his own instrumental albums, of which 1963's "H.R Is A Dirty Guitar Player" is the most highly regarded.
