Extra Terrestrial Visitors

A classic film from MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER, this tale of extra terrestrial visitation is also known as POD PEOPLE, and has generated more than a few canonical jokes among fans of the show. Now available without the commentary from Joel and the robots, the story is set in motion by a meteor that crashes into the Earth, dragging in its wake two passing alien eggs, which land in the middle of an isolated forest. The pods hatch, and one of the lovable creatures is discovered by a little boy named Tommy, who brings it home with him. The two become fast friends, as the alien, whose name is Trumpy, enchants and entertains the boy with his magical powers. Unfortunately, Trumpy's twin, Torgo, has not fared so well: provoked by a group of degenerate poachers, he goes on an angry killing spree.
