Tommy Hill shows his rock 'n' roll soul. Born in Texas in 1929, he worked with Hank Williams, Webb Pierce (for whom he wrote the big hit Slowly) and Ray Price. He also helped bring Buddy Holly to Nashville. When the music changed, Tommy was ready. ''I was raised on that Billy-Rock,'' he said.
