La Nación (Argentina)
Feb 6, 2020
Rating: 8/10 -- There's almost a serene, ghostly air to End of the Century that manipulates time, memory and romance, artfully spinning a simple story into something far more evocative. Full Review
The Digital Fix

Rating: A -- As all of these fleeting moments of intimacy reel the viewer in, the last act is a gutting and beautiful one-two punch that will leave audiences reeling. Full Review
indieWire
Aug 19, 2019
Rating: 3/5 -- It balances what is with what might have been and what could still be, and, although the result is maybe a bit less substantial than Castro intended, there is a certain literary elegance in the way he sketches it out. Full Review

Chicago Reader

Rating: 4/5 -- Starting from banal observations of a solitary holiday, it builds into a sexy, beguiling reflection on love and the endless possibilities that flow from one meaningful connection. Full Review

Product Description:

One day, while on a vacation in Barcelona, Ocho (Juan Barberini), an Argentinian poet based in New York, spots Javi (Ramon Pujol), an attractive Spanish man from Berlin. After a few ogling sessions by the shore, Ocho finally works up the courage to approach Javi and ask him out. Javi accepts the invitation, and after a romantic dinner, the two become intimate. On their second date, Javi reveals that he and Ocho have already met before, though their circumstances then were very different. Directed by Lucio Castro.
