Rating: 3/4 -- What "Sollers Point" accomplishes is a singular balancing act, compensating for the mood of heavy discouragement with only the slenderest thread of hope. Full Review
Washington Post
May 23, 2018
Rating: 7.5/10 -- Though the ending may be a touch off-footed, and some performances range from the cliched to the monotonous, the majority of the film captures a rather unique (and realistic) concern that affects numerous Americans today. Full Review
Under the Radar

Rating: 3/4 -- We engage with the characters but don't necessarily align ourselves with any of them. We observe in a non-judgmental fashion. Full Review
The Victoria Advocate
Oct 9, 2018
Rating: 2/4 -- The screenplay is naturalistic and the lead actor holds attention, but the film is too long and inconsequential to make much of a lasting impact as Keith meanders through his daily routines. Full Review
Observer
May 25, 2018
Rating: B -- A despairing slice-of-life drama set in the blue-collar suburb of Baltimore. Full Review
Ozus' World Movie Reviews
Jan 20, 2019
Rating: 6/10 -- Porterfield, who hails from Baltimore himself, extracts convincing emotions from the simplest scenes, pursuing the understated rather than the boisterous. Full Review
Film Threat
Sep 24, 2018
Rating: 3.5/5 -- What is striking is that, the more the action is delineated, the sadder the film becomes, because none of it is good for Keith. Anything remotely eventful only drives him further and further backwards. Full Review

Product Description:

After finishing a prison sentence, twenty-something Keith (McCaul Lombardi) moves back home with his father Carol (Jim Belushi) to restart his life. He's urged to return to school, but the constant reminders of his past are stifling enough to make him consider returning to his past ways. Tom Guiry, Zazie Beetz, and Everleigh Brenner also star. Written and directed by Matthew Porterfield.
