Swedish death metal band Candlemass fuses bonecrushing rhythms with neoclassical interludes for startlingly ferocious effect. Formed in 1985 by chief songwriter Leif Edling, Candlemass disbanded in 1992 but reunited 10 years later for a concert tour featuring the classic lineup of bassist Edling, vocalist Messiah Marcolin, guitarists Mats Bjorkman and Lars Johansson, and drummer Jan Lindh. Recorded in 2003, this concert film finds the reunited band playing a farewell show in Stockholm, Sweden, for a blistering 13-song performance that includes rarely performed songs such as "Demons Gate," "The Well of Souls," "Into the Unfathomed Tower," "Mourners Lament," and many more.
