The proceedings are not entirely unamusing in their lurid way, but they're also not nearly as clever as the filmmakers believed or hoped they would be.

It's like a good Blumhouse movie, told in elegantly framed images, and though the situation is extreme, the violent action is staged in a manner that one might describe as the understated version of over-the-top.

That is where it loses its momentum a bit, and the satire element is not mined nearly enough. But the cast are great and it is good, silly fun.

Product Description:
Amidst news of satanic cults roaming the streets and killing people, Alexis (Alexandra Daddario), Bev (Amy Forsyth), and Val (Maddie Hasson) decide to go on a road trip to see their favorite heavy metal band, Soldiers of Satan, live. An accident on the way leads them to meet Mark (Keean Johnson), Kovacs (Logan Miller), and Ivan (Austin Swift), all of whom they meet again during the concert. The six bond and, after the show, they all head to Alexis' house to get to know each other more. As soon as they arrive at their destination, violence ensues. Directed by Marc Meyers.
