Still, while it's disappointing as a mystery, "Who Killed Cock Robin" is effective as the study of a compulsively nosy man who follows his hunches whenever they lead, into some dark places.

The great irony is that while Wang finds himself in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse, and those are never a bad thing, in the end "Who Killed Cock Robin?" proves to be a big ol' shaggy-dog story.
