Director Ayumu Watanabe's animated film is based on Daisuke Igarashi's manga series of the same name. A bored junior high school student decides to spend her summer vacation at the local aquarium. She befriends two brothers who were purportedly raised by dugongs – and begins to explore the inexplicable connection that the three of them share with a series of mysterious marine phenomena off the coast of Japan.
