Rating: 2/5 -- It's amiably played, but Alan Cohn's direction lacks bite. Full Review

It is a movie whose appeal will diminish in direct proportion to the number of years it has been since you were a sexually-frustrated, pimply-faced undergrad. Full Review

Rating: 4/4 -- An education in cheap, easy laughs. Full Review

Rating: C- -- As a satire of new-style collegiate types, this MTV production actually evinces a few germs of rancid wit. If only the laborious high-concept plot had been deep-sixed -- and, along with it, the cynically blah heroes. Full Review

Dead Man on Campus is a modestly amusing trifle that merits a passing grade as lightweight entertainment.

Rating: 1/4 -- The jokes are few. And the only real reason you'll laugh is that, by the time they appear on screen, you've been waiting so long for the opportunity, you'll laugh at anything. Full Review

Description by OLDIES.com:

Tom Everett Scott and Mark-Paul Gosselaar are new roommates Josh and Cooper in this outrageous comedy that makes the grade. Josh (Tom Everett Scott) is the studious type, while Cooper (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) is the nothing-succeeds-like-excess guy. Soon Cooper's mantra rubs off on Josh, and they're both in danger of flunking out. But there's a catch: a clause in the school charter awards A's to students who suffer the trauma of a roommate's suicide. So Josh and Cooper set out to find a suicidal roomie who is most likely to succeed.
