There wasn't anything Nina Simone couldn't do. This musician, singer, songwriter, and performer is recognized as one of the most important artists in every field she has entered. During the late '50s and early '60s, Simone first began to cut the albums which would first highlight her vast scope as an artist. Released in 1963, "Nina's Choice" was a compilation of material (chosen by Simone herself) drawn from five previous albums she had recorded for Colpix, and each one is memorable.
