Entertainment Reviews:
Rating: 3/5 --
A perfectly pleasant, if a touch innocuous, rejigging of the Arthurian legend for a modern audience.

Herald Sun (Australia)
With its retro-video-game score and GOONIES-style gang of misfit characters, the movie plays like a throwback to Spielberg-produced adventure films of the ’80s.
Variety
[A] hopeful tale about the struggle between good and evil in a chaotic world.
Washington Post
It’s a film that somehow takes one of the oldest 'chosen one' narratives around -- the story of King Arthur -- and finds something fresh in its tale of heroism.
The Atlantic
Rating: 4/5 --
SUMMARY Family fun with a killer wit - destined for greatness.

HeyUGuys
3 stars out of 5 -- [T]his movie is sentimental in all the right places, and impossible to dislike.

Product Description:
Writer-director Joe Cornish's family-friendly fantasy film puts a contemporary spin on the legend of King Arthur. An unexceptional English boy (Louis Ashbourne Serkis) pulls Excalibur from a rock and is informed by Merlin (Angus Imrie and Patrick Stewart) that he is destined to lead the charge against evil medieval enchantress Morgana le Fay's attempt to conquer the world.
