Entertainment Reviews:
Rating: 3/5 --
What raises The Skeleton Twins above what could be a sentimental 'learning and sharing' drama is the strong chemistry between Wiig and Hader.

4 stars out of 5 -- Like Jason Reitman’s YOUNG ADULT, this is a film cosy in scale but leaking pain, its bent-out-of-shape inhabitants performing stock takes on life.

Hader and Wiig really do seem related. And both actors handle the balance between drama and comedy with aplomb. -- Grade: B-

Rating: 3/5 --
At times delightfully funny, Johnson's surprisingly dark film avoids many of the general pratfalls of white suburban ennui as it manages to be both heartfelt and adult.

The Skeleton Twins is Wiig and Hader's movie.. They take what could have been stock indie characters and created two broken, funny, fully realized people. Watching them play together is sheer joy, something that indie films and Hollywood need more of.

The laughs are here, but they are tempered by bruising regrets and simmering grudges in this elegant study of a sibling relationship in crisis.

[Hader] resists the temptation to go for easy laughs and broad strokes and delivers something darker and deeper. It's a shockingly vulnerable performance… -- Grade: B+

Product Description:
Craig Johnson's drama THE SKELETON TWINS stars SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE alumni Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig as suicidal siblings Milo and Maggie. After Milo cuts his wrists, Maggie moves him into her home in New York where she lives with her husband (Luke Wilson). Both brother and sister are dealing with severe emotional issues stemming from their own father's suicide, as well as their absent mother. While back in his hometown, Milo reconnects with a former lover (Ty Burrell) who was also his high-school English teacher. Meanwhile, Maggie has concerns about becoming a mother, and can't keep herself from cheating on her husband with her SCUBA instructor.
