Rating: 3.5/4 -- Where this film towers above the first one is in the music, written by Disney stalwarts Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman. Full Review

Rating: 6/10 -- There's a certain moroseness to [the Peanuts movies] which is part of the reason why I like them... they are emotionally true and honest and treat kids as full human beings. Full Review

Snoopy Come Home was mostly a nostalgia trip for me, so I can't say how well it will play to new audiences, but I enjoyed looking at it again. Full Review

Rating: 3/4 -- There's a great running gag involving a string of "No Dogs Allowed" signs, and the film is alternately humorous and heart-tugging. Full Review

Snoopy Come Home is the best of the series. Maybe it is because of its star, the greatest Beagle thespian there ever was. Maybe it is because this movie offers more of a unified story. Full Review

Product Description:

This was the second film made with the Peanuts characters created by Charles M. Schulz after the success of the first film, A BOY NAMED CHARLIE BROWN. This film is also full of music, and the story centers on Snoopy, who discovers that his first owner is sick and feels the need to return to her, which means leaving Charlie Brown. The story is filled with both humor, especially in the comic buddy rapport between Snoopy and Woodstock, his small bird friend, and tears -- as Charlie Brown and the gang realize that Snoopy may be leaving for good.
