Description by OLDIES.com:

Somethin' Smith & the Redheads were one of the most unique vocal groups of the 1950's. This trio of red-headed musicians met while students at UCLA, and soon became an extremely popular act in supper clubs and hotels across the country. On "Put The Blame On Mame," the group is rumored to have been backed by Ray Conniff (performing under the pseudonym "Jay Raye").
