Entertainment Reviews:
[A]n avant-garde homage to a literary genius who recognized cinema’s potential to take his work beyond the boundaries of language...
Variety
Rating: 3.5/4 --

Combustible Celluloid
3.5 stars out of 4 -- PASOLINI stays far from the cliches of the Hollywood biopic, embracing a fragmented, intense, impressionistic approach.
RogerEbert.com
[T]he movie never errs in its sincerity, which extends all the way to the decision to depict Pasolini’s murder in graphic detail.
A.V. Club
Rating: 3/5 --
Willem Dafoe again reminds us just how talented and diverse an actor he truly is.
