Product Description:
Industrial synth-pop band The Hunger originally formed in the late 1980s as a more conventional electro-dance unit and debuted in 1988 with a self-produced single titled "Shock," which became a hit in local clubs. Led by brothers Jeff and Thomas Wilson, the Hunger's sound began to morph into an edgier, more industrial sound fusing the electronic textures of industrial music with the intensity of alternative metal. A subsequent single “Leave Me Alone” attracted the attention of Houston based producer Stephen Bogle who remixed the track and joined the group as full time guitarist. The group released their full length debut, “Leave Me Alone” in 1991 with the addition of drummer Max Schuldberg solidifying the sound. Presented here is a special edition maxi-single featuring two tracks from the album, “Tonight” and “Shoot To Kill.” “Tonight” features the original 7” mix plus an extended mix and two remixes. “Shoot To Kill” features a 12” guitar mix, a 12” dance mix and two additional remixes for a total of 8 tracks. Newly remastered.
