Alessandro Celli's directorial feature debut tells the story of a futuristic ghost town called Taranto. Taranto is surrounded by barbed wire and run by ferocious gangs. Feared by civilians and cops, the town is a battleground for survival—meanwhile, two thirteen-year-old orphans dream of joining the Formiche gang. The sci-fi film competed at the Venice Film Festival in 2021.
