Product Description:
Though close throughout, this game is all about the last few minutes. J.C. Watts is considered the main superstar here, using the final quarter to work some of his aerial magic and take the game for the Oklahoma Sooners. Watts fumbled four times during the game and was repeatedly thwarted by the Seminoles first rate defense. Maybe this frustrated him just enough to go for blood, because in the last 3 or so minutes of the game he passed like a god. A field goal attempted by Bill Capece narrowly missed and the Seminoles lost their shot at victory. This is yet another great classic in college football. Interesting anecdote: this game was the first time officials used microphones in a college game, so there are many cool audio sound bytes from insiders getting adjusted to the new technology.
