The film doesn't always work as a genre exercise, but it's a winner as a character study, in large part because of how committed Hagan is to playing Janie's derangement. Casting directors in search of the offbeat should take note.

Rating: 4/5 --
A psychological horror and surreal character study of co-dependency. Cresciman straddles a line where you may never know exactly what's real and what's not, even at the end.

This will probably not be to everyone's tastes considering the film's uncomfortable nature and the lack of clarity within the narrative, but this film offers a unique experience that'll leave you surprised and intrigued.

Description by OLDIES.com:
As Janie recovers from a recent violent psychotic break, she's subjected each day to a bizarre holistic health and wellness regimen designed, and enforced, by her lifelong nanny and caretaker, Irma. Janie begins to veer off the road to recovery when she develops an obsession with a young woman, Savannah, which Janie feels an inexplicable yet profound connection to. The obsession turns increasingly invasive and wedges all three women into an ever-tightening and terrifying struggle for control.
