Description by OLDIES.com:
Yarn-spinning yokel William Quincy Malone (Dennis O'Keefe) is unique among the cowpuncher roustabouts working a ranch in Texas – he does it with a croquet mallet and a tennis ball, with the help of a hundred-trick pony by the name of Lone Star. Unlike his fellow Texan ranch riders, Malone dreams of the East, and the greatest horse show of all: polo. When a brother-sister pair of dilettante debutantes (John Hubbard and Florence Rice) purchase Lone Star with an eye toward the polo pitch, Malone transforms himself into Wild Bill Malone, the greatest polo player in Texas, with the aid of a press-agent pal (Jack Carson). Soon making his official polo debut, Malone's fast mouth and faster fists make a mess of things, and he leaves the field in disgrace. Heading east to Queens, NY and a Wild West show with ranch buddy Snifty (Buddy Ebsen), Wild Bill gets a shot at redemption and romance when he brings polo to the rodeo.
