In the perpetually bombed region of Eastern Ghouta, a team of medical professionals decides to move their supplies below the surface in order to provide service to citizens affected by the ongoing war. The makeshift hospital is appropriately dubbed as the Cave, and it is headed by Dr. Amani Ballor, a woman. Aside from the harsh and dangerous reality that besets everyone in the hospital, Ballor also receives a constant stream of misogynistic comments coming from the people she helps wholeheartedly.
