[Baker's] clownish backfield-in-motion Charleston shimmy is unlike anything else in the movie and perhaps unlike anything else anyone ever did.

See 1920s Paris in all its decadence and glory with LA REVUE DES REVUES. Josephine Baker (PRINCESS TAM TAM) headlines a cast of period performers as they turn a nightclub into the hottest spot in the City of Light. Gabrielle (Helene Hallier) wins a contest to become the club's newest star, but it's Baker's appearance that makes the film a vintage treasure. The chanteuse brings her trademark shake to the screen in two vibrant songs. LA REVUE DES REVUES also features Jazz Age energy from exotic dancers, acrobats, and other performers.
