Director Christoph Green teams up with producer Brendan Canty (of punk rock figureheads Fugazi) for another installment of their fascinating BURN TO SHINE series. The premise for these films finds Green and Canty travelling to a different city, locating houses that are soon to be demolished, then staging a unique last-rites-style ceremony for the buildings by getting local, independently minded musicians to perform in them. This third installment takes place in Portland, Oregon, and includes performances by the Shins, Sleater-Kinney, the Decemberists, Mirah, the Thermals, Quasi, the Gossip, Wet Confetti, Planet The, Lifesavas, the Ready, and Tom Heinl.
