Entertainment Reviews:
Most of the thrills here come from watching one of our canniest directors perform rattling wheelchair dollies on a waxed hospital floor while over-punctuating video-noisy close-ups and cheesy music cues. -- Grade: B-
A.V. Club

Unsane is a frenetically-paced, wildly affecting film.

Wicked Horror
[A] diabolically shrewd and spooky psychological thriller...
Los Angeles Times
Rating: 7/10 --
A liberating experience and a technical challenge for the director, I'm sure. It's a well-shot film for an iPhone film, the muddy, grainy sensation speaks well to Sawyer's delusions.

North Shore News (Vancouver, B.C.)
3 stars out of 4 -- Foy, adopting a clipped American accent, holds the camera with fierce intensity as Sawyer Valentini, an efficient, tough-talking data analyst.
Rolling Stone
4 stars out of 5 -- With the entire film shot on iPhones, it would be all too easy to write it off as a flagrant act of gimmickry on Soderbergh’s part....But his creative decision for Unsane really nourishes the mood of nasty, queasy unease.

Rating: B- --
Is she crazy? Is she not? These questions drive the audience to keep watching the unique imperfect style that was used to tell the story. Claire Foy's performance is astounding!
