Description by OLDIES.com:

Dick Gordon is a frustrated and unsuccessful writer who hatches a plan to go on a walking trip from New York to San Francisco and then write a book about his experiences. Dick doesn't get very far before a thunderstorm forces him to take shelter in what seems to be an empty cabin. To his surprise, he finds pretty Judy Randall and her twin kid sisters, who are hiding in the cabin from their overbearing grandfather. Sparks soon start to fly between Dick and Judy, but the romance is upset when the cabin's real owners arrive - a pair of incognito gangsters who stashed their stolen loot there. Dick is excited that he's finally got something worth writing about - but if it costs him and Judy their lives, his new book may be a posthumous bestseller...

Honeymoon Limited is a charming comedy programmer from low-budget Poverty Row studio Monogram Pictures, with a cast that will be instantly recognizable to fans of 1930s "B" movies. Handsome star Neil Hamilton had a long career in Hollywood, rising to fame after his role in The White Rose (1923) and for a time was D.W. Griffith's preferred leading man. After the advent of sound, his career slipped into less prestigious fare, but today he is well remembered for playing Commissioner Gordon on the Batman TV series (1966-1968). Dimpled blonde beauty Irene Hervey, who appeared on loan from MGM, was in many fine films including Destry Rides Again (1939), Night Monster (1948) and Mr. Peabody And The Mermaid (1948). Like Hamilton, Lloyd Hughes started his career in big-budget silents like The Sea Hawk (1924) and The Lost World (1925), but by the talkie era had become a fixture in "B" pictures with titles such as The Drums of Jeopardy (1931) and Midnight Phantom (1935). George 'Gabby' Hayes is well known as the bearded comic relief sidekick to cowboys stars such as Roy Rogers, John Wayne, and Bob Steele, and for a time even had his own TV show. Director Arthur Lubin later made the Claude Rains remake of Phantom of the Opera (1943) and the Don Knotts classic The Incredible Mr. Limpet (1964).
