Entertainment Reviews:
[M]ost of all it is unexpectedly fun, drawing you through its world of not-very-good-at-this criminals, low-lifes and people who want little more than to just hang about with verve and panache. And that makes it a place worth visiting.

Los Angeles Times
While Arkansas may have aspired to have some Coen Brothers or Quentin Tarantino-esque flavor, Clark Duke's first outing is an uneven, at times entertaining, and often exasperating, corn-pone crime-drama.

Movies and Shakers
[Clark Duke] shows some promise as a director and maybe even more so as a screenwriter, but it goes on too long, it is unevenly paced, and it seems to end a few times.

[T]he country-fried crime picture ARKANSAS has its narrative roots in the elevated pulp of Elmore Leonard and Jim Thompson, and its cinematic roots in the darkly comic, casually violent films of Quentin Tarantino and the Coen brothers.

Product Description:
Comedian Clark Duke stars in his directorial debut alongside Liam Hemsworth. They play Swin and Kyle, two average Joes who pretend to work as junior park rangers in Arkansas while working as amateur-level drug couriers for an unknown drug kingpin who goes by the name of Frog (Vince Vaughn). Their only connection to Frog is via his unusual contacts: a woman named Her (Vivica A. Fox) and an eccentric old man (John Malkovich). When Swin and Kyle bungle up some processes of their work, Frog gets the impression that they are a major threat to his business. Based on the book by John Brandon.
