The biggest disappointments of The Craft: Legacy stem from it starting off so promisingly, using elements of its source material while heading somewhere unpredictable. Full Review

It adheres quite closely to the story beats and even some of the dialogue of the 1996 cult horror hit, right down to the new arrival in town who completes the circle of aspiring witches, bringing magic she has only just begun to command as they use their collective powers to cut school bullies down to size.

3 stars out of 5 -- From the get-go, Lister-Jones builds an eclectic clique; Spaeny’s wide-eyed lead is an empathetic way into this witchy world, while Gideon Adlon’s chatty Frankie, Lovie Simone’s thoughtful Tabby and Zoey Luna’s vibrant Lourdes all initially stand out as engaging characters.
