Hostile Waters PG-13

On October 3rd, 1986, a U.S. submarine collides with a fully armed Soviet sub spying off the coast of America. As communication shuts down, a terrifying standoff occurs between the two massive warships and the captains that man them a stand-off that could lead to all-out nuclear war. Every move the Russian ship makes appears suspicious, nut unknown to the American captain, a crack in the Russian hull has led to an explosion and fire which could cause a massive nuclear meltdown. Any future hope for saving lives and preventing disaster lies in the hands of two men: the Russian captain who must struggle to save his crew, and the American captain who can start a war or prevent one.
