Documentary filmmaker Kathlyn Horan unravels the story of noteworthy country music artists from two distinct generations. The focus is on Tanya Tucker, a pioneering female in country music who first garnered fame as a child performer during the 1970s. She grew up to become a successful singer-songwriter with many awards to her name. But she also stepped back from the limelight. The young musician Brandi Carlile identifies Tanya Tucker as her hero. The film then follows Brandi encouraging Tanya as the latter returns to record a new album after seventeen years.
