The familiar theme of secretary-wife rivalry gets a new twist in this popular, star-studded MGM romantic comedy directed by the extraordinary Clarence Brown. Clark Gable stars as Van Stanhope, a hardworking magazine publisher who is happily married to Linda (Myrna Loy). Jean Harlow stars as Helen "Whitey" Wilson, Van's secretary and right-hand gal who, despite her love for her employer, respects the sanctity of his happy marriage.
