Entertainment Reviews:
There are a handful of thrilling, suspenseful sequences like the first shootout in the field and some hand-to-hand combat.

It's certainly entertaining, but it was also kind of dumb. A mindless action film that you watch to just put something on. To take this movie literally [in a political sense] is nonsense...

No one could possibly be offended by The Hunt, because that would require it to contain at least one comprehensible idea.

[A] mean little horror/satire from the clever devils at Blumhouse....Rage -- shared by characters on both sides, even as they direct it at each other -- is what THE HUNT is all about.

It's a solid throwaway B-movie that probably thinks it has more to say than it actually does but is entertaining nonetheless.

Solid performances that had me sold in it. A lot of surprises at the beginning that kept me engaged, and there was never a lull...

Zobel proves just the director to execute such a tight, well-oiled shock-a-thon.

Product Description:
Director Craig Zobel's satirical horror-thriller is based on Richard Connell's 1924 short story "The Most Dangerous Game." The film stars Betty Gilpin, Emma Roberts, Ethan Suplee, Ike Barinholtz, and Hilary Swank. Twelve strangers wake up to find themselves in a remote and deserted clearing, at the mercy of a group of globalist elites who have gathered to hunt them down for sport. One woman (Gilpin) fights ferociously for her life, eventually turning the tables on the hunters.
