Uakari: Secrets of the English Monkey

Uakari: Secrets of the English Monkey is about the work of a young biologist Dr. Mark Bowler, to learn about and protect the rarest of monkeys: the Red Uakari. The film follows his work in the Peruvian Amazon. As Mark learns more about this elusive, threatened primate, we also discover that the Red Uakari's life is intertwined with the very jungle that surrounds it...the fruit it eats and drops on the forest floor feeds an entire region of the Amazon. The elusive Red Uakari monkey is vital to the survival of the jungle.
