The Revenant is a refreshing spin on the vampire/zombie genre and a true hidden gem.

Rating: 3/5 --
This small sleeper delivers a surprising number of pleasingly putrid punch lines.
New York Times
5 stars out of 5 -- DiCaprio is hypnotically good....The imagery is sublime, primal landscapes straight out of an Albert Bierstadt painting...
Empire
D. Kerry Prior's limited experience mostly lies in SFX, but you wouldn't know it from what is perfect comedy timing.

Exquisite Terror
It's the best successor to Cemetery Man out there, for sure (much better than Dylan Dog!).

Horror.com
Ultra-gory horror comedy squanders its intriguing premise of crime-stopping vigilante zombies with its uneven execution.

3.5 stars out of 4 -- [H]ang on for its unforgiving 156 minutes and you get to experience the power of cinema unleashed....The visionary result is so relentlessly raw you can see the breath of the freezing actors...

Product Description:
In 1820s America, frontiersman and fur trapper Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his teenage son Hawk (Forrest Goodluck) join a pelt-gathering expedition. However, their party are attacked by Arikara Native Americans, who kill a number of the men. Glass then tries to lead the remainder of the group to safety, charting a new path to a U.S. fort. Unfortunately, he is soon mauled by a grizzly bear while hunting for food, and is horribly wounded. He is left in the care of roughneck John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy) and the young and inexperienced Jim Bridger (Will Poulter), while Hawk watches on in horror. Fitzgerald betrays him and leaves him buried alive in a shallow grave, but Glass nurses himself back to health and sets out to seek revenge. Alejandro González Iñárritu directed this pulse-pounding epic.
