Description by OLDIES.com:
A man, known only as "the Drifter," murders the outlaw sent to assassinate John McNary, owner of the Canadian Lumber Company. The Drifter falls in love with McNary's beautiful daughter Bonnie, who is secretly in love with Paul Latour, supervisor of the rival Northern Lumber Company - the very outfit that would like to see her father dead. The romantic rivalry between the Drifter and Latour will culminate in a violent outburst of shocking revelations, retribution and death.
William Farnum gives a spellbinding and haunting performance backed by a fine supporting cast which includes Noah Beery and Russell Hopton. Farnum achieved fame on the stage playing Ben-Hur in 1900. Between 1915 and 1925, he became a huge motion picture star, earning an astronomical $10,000 a week in pictures such as Drag Harlan (1920) and If I Were King (1921). He is honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
