It plays out as a sappy meeting between representatives of the Counterculture and Establishment.

Not surprisingly, the joys of Breezy lie in the 'how' rather than the 'what' in this charming May December romance from Clint Eastwood

Product Description:
Young Edith Alice Breezerman, better known as "Breezy" (Kay Lenz) lives life as a free-spirited hippie -- moving from adventure to adventure like a dandelion seed on the wind. Her innocence, however, leads her to trouble when she discovers the ulterior motives of a man who offers her a place to stay. Rescue comes in the form of Frank Harmon (William Holden), a gruff, middle-aged man who offers Breezy a safe space. Though the two don't have much in common, beginning with their age difference, eventually they find compatibility and even romance.
