The individual parts may be greater than the sum of the whole, but man, are those parts funny.

Under the Radar
Rating: B --
Has everything but the kitchen sink, and while it doesn't always hit the sweetest notes of inspiration, it maintains a lovable spiritedness and offers the odd gut-buster. And dumb guy humor. UHF has some of the best dumb guy humor around.

This is the dreariest comedy in many a month, a depressing slog through recycled comic formulas.

Product Description:
Funnyman "Weird" Al Yankovic stars in this comedy as George Newman, a man who takes over a low-rent TV station won by his uncle in a poker game. Newman's unconventional methods for boosting ratings include giving the station's janitor his own children's program -- with spectacularly successful results. Complications ensue when the unscrupulous head of a rival network tries to drive Newman off the air, but there's still plenty of time out for fantasy music video segments and TV bits which showcase Yankovic's talents as a parodist.

Uhf is one funny movie starring the one and only Weird Al Yankovic. It is an hilarious picture filmed mostly in Tulsa Oklahoma. Before from there I was partial to the location. You can't go wrong with this picture. It is a laugh from start to finish.
