Description by OLDIES.com:

English gentleman Sam Thornhill is looking to make his young wife Molly jealous, so he buys expensive gifts for another woman. Instead of reigniting their passion, Molly promptly divorces him. When the former couple find themselves at the home of mutual friends, Sam sees an opportunity to make amends, but a case of mistaken identity may end their reconciliation before it begins.

A Pair of Silk Stockings is based on a 1914 hit Broadway play play by Cyril Harcourt. Star Constance Talmadge started her career in motion pictures that same year with the comedy short In Bridal Attire, but rose to prominence with her role as the Mountain Girl in D.W. Griffith's Intolerance in 1916. While her more famous sister Norma was known for her work in melodramas, Constance specialized in light comedy. Leading man Harrison Ford came from the Broadway stage and quickly found success in Hollywood, appearing in nearly 100 films between 1915 and 1932. Talmadge and Ford were a popular screen couple of the silent era, often paired together in features such as Mrs. Leffingwell's Boots (1918), Experimental Marriage (1919) and The Primitive Lover (1922). Starring Constance Talmadge, Harrison Ford, Wanda Hawley and Louis Wiloughby. Directed by Walter Edwards.

Plus two bonus short films:
OFF AGAIN (BW, 1927): A man fears for his life when his wife's jilted ex-lover comes back to town. Star Wallace Lupino is the brother of silent comedy star Lupino Lane.

THEN CAME THE YAWN (BW, 1934): A rare and riotous parody of motion picture trailers.
