While best known in the US for their contribution (the hit "You Don't Own Me") to the 1987 film DIRTY DANCING, pop-rockers the Blow Monkeys had long been a successful act in the UK. Led by the outspoken "Dr. Robert" Howard, the group had a visual presence almost as impressive as their music. Filmed in the mid-1980s, LIVE IN LONDON features Dr. Robert and several of the UK's finest musicians of the time performing Marc Bolan's "Get It On," Tom Jones's "It's Not Unusual," and many Blow Monkeys originals.
