The Deutsch Oper Berlin mounted this 1982 production of Carl Heinrich Graun's opera Montezuma, with a cast that includes Alexandra Papadjiakou as Montezuma, Sophie Boulin as Eupaforice and Gudrun Sieber as Erissena. The Berlin Deutsche Opera Orchestra lends symphonic accompaniment under the baton of Hans Hilsdorf; Herbert Wernicke designed the sets and costumes and directs for the stage. This show was mounted and filmed at the Markgräfliches Opernhaus in Bayreuth.
