The Styles Doo Wop And Blue-Eyed Soul, Volume 2 (Featuring Jackie V. and Joey Diamond)

The Era of 1950's Rock & Roll and Doo-Wop was fabulousand heartfel memories for many who back then enjoyed this sound and lyrics. Today alot of poeple all over enjoy this music.... The Styles a group originally formed in 1958 with lead singer Jackie Vero was and still is a great contribution in making all these memories come alive in Vol #1 and Vol #2. I definitely enjoy this music and without hesitation will recommend to anyone to get this priceless collection.

Singers lose their voices as they get older. This is not the case with Jack and Joey. Song selection is a treat to the ears. Many vocalists of the 50s and 60s era would not attempt to sing these songs . Jackie V. and company not only do a great job, they do it in the original keys! One last thing. When is volume three coming out.

This CD is extremely well put together. Their lead singers Jackie V. and Joey Diamond are abundantly talented. I had the privilege to be present at one of their live shows here in southwest Florida it was truly an unforgettable experience. And this CD makes me relive that show over and over again at the commodity of my home. It really puts you back at their live concert. IT IS A PHENOMINAL ALBUM!!!

As much as I liked volume 1 of this set, I personally like volume 2 even better. From a purely personal perspective, I just loved the song selection on this CD. Jackie and Joey both are just great singers, and their passion for the songs, the music, and the era this music comes from comes across so clearly in their voices. They don't just like these songs and singing them, they love them. This same enthusiasm comes across very clearly at their live performances. You must see them if you have the opportunity, their show is a nostalgia filled evening performed at a very high level. You won't want the night to end. Again, this CD is the next best thing to being there.

What makes this CD so special is the Authenticity of Jackie V's voice. You can hear the expression in every word of You belong to Me, He can hit every note with such ease, and Joey Diamond brings his own original flair, with his great rendition of Mustang Sally, and There Goes My Baby. Together the Harmonies are beautiful. This is a one of a kind Duo.

I've seen this group in concert they do a fantastic job recreating all these hits.A blast from the past. Great showmen worthy of any entertainment venue.If you have the chance see them live.
I am a DJ and I have both of the Styles CD's when I started playing them the dance floor filled up right away. Now I get requests for them all the time.Excellent Vocals and great over all sound quality.A fine addition for any oldies collection.

My husband and I plus a group of friends had the pleasure of seeing this group live in concert on Long Island, NY - everyone was greatly impressed with the enthusiasm and quality of the way in which they performed. Their voices blended together to form a unique but true to the sound of Doo Wop - which we all have come love. We all were amazed by the vocal ranges of Jackie V and the unique and easy listening sounds of Joey Diamond. An enjoyment to listen to over and over. Some of our favorites are - Mustang Sally, Sixteen Candles and When you Dance. This venue would definitely be a welcome addition to those performing in Las Vegas and would take top billing!

I just want to comment on the the two Cd's I purchased in December, 2006.Volume's 1 and 2. The sound of the Styles are truly oldies of the past gone by.Volume's 1 and 2 bring back so many good memories of my teenage years in Brooklyn and high school on Long Island.I can remember having fun on a Friday night with my friends, parking the car in a beach parking lot and playing the radio on my 54 Mercury loud and dancing in the parking lot to beautiful music by so many groups.When I first played the CD's I got very emotional and sad thinking of all the time that has gone by.However, the more I listen to this outstanding duo of Jackie V. and Joey Diamond the more I sing along and fee I'm part of the group.It's outstanding and they truly belong in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame. I can't say enough, what a sound such feeling, such emotion in every song.Thank you and thank Jackie V. and Joey Diamond for me.I rate both volumes 1 and 2 a 5 star.

These could be the best cd's we've ever purchased. If you love Motown and Doo Wop, these are a must have, both volumes 1 and 2, you will not be disappointed. These CD'S are truly a wonderful quality of great songs. They'll keep the party grooving and you dance all night long.......May God continue to bless you both, and thanks for keeping Doo Wop and Motown alive. What great talent, and it shows on the cd's.

From This is my Love, to In the Midnight Hour these classic hits came alive with the vocals of Jackie V and Joey Diamond father and son. I really enjoyed listening to volume 1.As for volume 2 Jackie V with his Sixteen Candles rendition left you breathless, wishing to have seen him live! Joey Diamond performing "Soul Man" and "Mustang Sally" really highlights his spin on these unforgettable hits of the past. Jackie V and Joey Diamond truly prove their desired to continue the fantastic Legacy of the Styles, I can't wait for volume 3!!!!

premiere artists. When do I get to hear the new
CD's. There has to be somemore of these wonderful songs with these wonderful voices.

These two have done it again. Just when you think Volume One cannot be out done, Jackie and Joey create the perfect follow-up. These two individuals are truly talented. They are instant American Idols. More of the same outstanding sounds as Volume One. A must have to compliment Volume One. So dance and sing-a-long to the fabulous sounds of the 50's and 60's. Your friends will be asking you about these two volumes.

This is an excellent collection of Doo Wop and Soul. Jackie V and Joey Diamond are outstanding on this CD. It is a must have for any fans of great Doo Wop music and Soul. Each song here is a guaranteed hit. I have also seen Jackie V and Joey Diamond perform Live, and their show is tremendous. If you enjoy good music this is one CD you must own.
