This charming romantic musical comedy features the superb dancing talent of Vera-Ellen and the stylish charm of David Niven. Dancer Janet Jones (Vera-Ellen) mistakes B.J. Bruno, millionaire, (David Niven) for a newspaper reporter. Unfortunately due to a previous misunderstanding Janet has already been romantically linked to B.J. Bruno, who she has never seen before. She decides to embellish the deception in order to help producer John Frost (Cesar Romero) convince his creditors that the show they are putting on is soundly backed.
